INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS
NOTICE:
* When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
* Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
* When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

The following items can be customized.

7. ENTRY UNLOCK MODE SWITCHING (SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Entry Function))
NOTICE:
Because the key (for card type) does not have a wireless transmitter function, it cannot be used to change the entry unlock mode.
(a) Check that the power source mode is OFF and the LED on the key is not blinking. Press the lock switch and one of the other switches on the key at the same time for approximately 5 seconds while the key is in the detection area.
* Driver door unlock default setting:
When the switches are pressed and held for 5 seconds, the entry door unlock mode changes to the mode that is not currently selected.
NOTICE:
After pressing and holding the switches for 5 seconds, wait 5 seconds before performing the same procedure again.
* Driver door unlock mode:
When the driver door touch sensor is touched, only the driver door unlocks. When another touch sensor is touched, all doors unlock.
* All door unlock mode:
When any touch sensor is touched, all doors unlock.
(b) The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) receives this signal from the door control receiver and changes the smart access system with push-button start to the entry unlock mode.
(c) The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) sounds the wireless door lock buzzer and combination meter buzzer to inform the user that the mode has been switched.
HINT
The procedure only changes the entry unlock mode of the smart access system with push-button start. It does not switch the unlocking of the wireless door lock control.
8. ELECTRICAL KEY CANCEL (SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Entry Function))
NOTICE:
Because the key (for card type) does not have a wireless transmitter function, it cannot be used to perform the key cancel operation.
HINT
To start the hybrid control system while the smart access system with push-button start is disabled, follow the procedure for when the key battery is low System Description.
The electrical key cancel operation disables the following functions:
* Entry Unlock/Lock
* Entry Hybrid Control System Start
* Entry Luggage Compartment Door Open
* Electrical Key Lock-in Prevention
* Warning
(a) The operation procedure is as follows:
Precondition:
Power switch off, driver door closed and unlocked.
(1) Push the unlock switch of the key once.
(2) Open the driver door within 5 seconds.
(3) Push the unlock switch of the key twice within 5 seconds.
(4) Close and open the driver door twice within 30 seconds.
(Driver door: Close -> Open -> Close -> Open)
(5) Push the unlock switch of the key twice within 5 seconds.
(6) Close and open the driver door within 30 seconds.
(Driver door: Close -> Open)
(7) Close the driver door within 5 seconds.
When electrical key cancel is activated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds twice.
To return to the original condition, perform the procedure again. When the original condition is returned, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once.
9. SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Start Function)

10. CUSTOMIZING FUNCTION WITHOUT TECHSTREAM (SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Start Function))
CAUTION:
Because the key (for card type) does not have a wireless transmitter function, it cannot be used to perform the key cancel operation.
Performing the following procedure disables the smart access system with push-button start.
HINT
To start the hybrid control system while the smart access system with push-button start is disabled, follow the procedure for when the key battery is low System Description.
(a) The procedure to disable the smart access system with push-button start is as follows:
HINT
Repeating the following steps switches the smart access system with push-button start status between activated and disabled.
Preconditions:
Power switch off, driver door closed and unlocked.
(1) Push the unlock switch of the key once.
(2) Open the driver door within 5 seconds.
(3) Push the unlock switch of the key twice within 5 seconds.
(4) Close and open the driver door twice within 30 seconds.
(Driver door: Close -> Open -> Close -> Open)
(5) Push the unlock switch of the key twice within 5 seconds.
(6) Close and open the driver door within 30 seconds.
(Driver door: Close -> Open)
(7) Close the driver door within 5 seconds.
When electrical key cancel is activated, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds twice.
To return to the original condition, perform the procedure again. When the original condition is returned, the wireless door lock buzzer sounds once.

* *1: This function is linked with the power window key-linked function. If the power window key-linked function is set to OFF, the sliding roof key-linked function will not operate even when it is set to ON.
* *2: This function is linked with the power window wireless transmitter-linked function. If the power window wireless transmitter-linked function is set to OFF, the sliding roof wireless transmitter-linked function will not operate even when it is set to ON.
