PROCEDURE
1. CHECK SATELLITE SWITCH
(a) Using the satellite switch, check that the switch operates normally in the other modes. (For example: TACH INDICATOR mode)
OK:
The satellite switch operates normally.
NG -- INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER)
(a) Disconnect the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver J49 connector and combination meter assembly J34 connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU AND RECEIVER Removal
3. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING SELECT SWITCH

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
HINT
When the tire pressure warning select switch is faulty, replace the satellite switch and all because the former switch is included in the latter.
NG -- REPLACE SATELLITE SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - SATELLITE SWITCH)
