Reassembly

EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.





Torque : 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the cooler (ambient temperature sensor) thermistor with the bolt.





(c) Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber.





3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.





(b) Install the screw.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the 2 front fender liner retainers.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. INSTALL LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the lower front bumper cover.





7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.





8. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/o Front Spoiler)

(a) Engage the 5 claws to install the fog light cover LH.





9. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/o Front Spoiler)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH (w/ Front Spoiler)

(a) Engage the 5 guides and 6 claws to install the front spoiler cover LH.





(b) Install the 6 clips.





11. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER RH (w/ Front Spoiler)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

12. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

(a) Install the fog light mounting bracket LH with the 2 screws.





13. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

14. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 2 guides and 13 claws to install the lower radiator grille.





(b) Install the 2 clips.





15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

(a) Engage the 7 claws to install the radiator grille moulding.





(b) Install the 6 screws.

16. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM

HINT
When installing the radiator grille emblem, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

Heating Temperature:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem excessively.

(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Clean the radiator grille emblem (if reusing the radiator grille emblem).

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille emblem.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille emblem.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(4) Apply new double-sided tape to the radiator grille emblem.

(c) Install the radiator grille emblem.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem.

(2) Remove the release paper from the radiator grille emblem.

HINT
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install the radiator grille emblem.





17. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 12 claws and install the radiator grille assembly.





(b) Install the 2 clips.





18. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 13 clips and install the radiator grille protector.





19. INSTALL HEADLIGHT HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Engage the 4 clamps and install the headlight hose.





20. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Engage the 9 clamps and install the No. 4 engine room wire.





21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

22. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
