Theft Deterrent System

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU RH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH)

(a) Disconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the main body ECU RH (cowl side junction block RH) connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.





2. CHECK ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK AND JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (FRONT CONTROLLER)

(a) Disconnect the 2G multiplex network body ECU connector.





(b) Measure the resistance between each terminal of the wire harness connector and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the 2G multiplex network body ECU connector.

(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the connector and body ground.
