Reassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

Torque : 67 Nm (683 kgf-cm, 50 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the cooler (ambient temp sensor) thermistor with the clamp.

(c) Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.

2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper side retainer LH.

(b) Install the screw.

4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the 2 front fender liner retainers.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

6. INSTALL LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the lower front bumper cover.

7. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

(a) Engage the claw and install the fog light mounting bracket LH.

8. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper guard cover LH.

10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

11. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

12. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 12 claws and install the lower radiator grille.

13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 6 claws and install the radiator grille.

(b) Install the 2 clips.

14. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 8 claws and install the radiator grille assembly.

(b) Engage the 6 claws.

15. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 13 clips and install the radiator grille protector.

16. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

HINT
When installing the radiator grille emblem, heat the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem using a heat light.

Heating Temperature

NOTICE:
Do not heat the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem excessively.

(a) Clean the radiator grille surface.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Clean the radiator grille emblem (if reusing the radiator grille emblem).

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille emblem.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille emblem.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(4) Apply new double-sided tape to the radiator grille emblem.

(c) Install the radiator grille emblem.

(1) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille and radiator grille emblem.

(2) Remove the release paper from the face of the radiator grille emblem.

HINT
After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

(3) Install the radiator grille emblem.

17. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

(a) Engage the claw and install the radiator grille emblem.

(b) Install the 2 spring nuts.

18. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) Engage the 6 clamps and install the headlight cleaner hose.

19. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

20. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

21. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Installation

23. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Engage the 10 clamps and install the No. 4 engine room wire.

24. INSTALL NO. 3 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
