Installation
FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the power steering link assembly and 2 front suspension member brace plate with the 2 bolts, 2 washers and 2 nuts.
Torque : 118 Nm (1203 kgf-cm, 87 ft-lbf)
HINT
Install the power steering link assembly and front suspension member brace plate together with the front lower suspension arm assembly.
2. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front lower suspension arm assembly LH with the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 washers.
Bolt B - Torque : 86 Nm (877 kgf-cm, 63 ft-lbf)
HINT
Install the power steering link assembly and front suspension member brace plate together with the front lower suspension arm assembly.
(b) Set the front lower suspension arm in the horizontal position shown in the illustration.
(c) Fully tighten bolt A.
Bolt A - Torque : 135 Nm (1377 kgf-cm, 100 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
The final torque must be applied under standard vehicle height conditions.
3. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY RH
HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.
4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR
(a) Install the front stabilizer bar with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 84 Nm (857 kgf-cm, 62 ft-lbf)
HINT
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.
5. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR LH (for 4GR-FSE) Installation
6. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR LH (for 2GR-FSE) Installation
7. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR RH (for 4GR-FSE) Installation
8. INSTALL FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR RH (for 2GR-FSE) Installation
9. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 4GR-FSE) Installation
10. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FSE) Installation
11. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 4GR-FSE) Installation
12. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 2GR-FSE) Installation
13. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 4GR-FSE) Installation
14. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 2GR-FSE) Installation
15. INSTALL ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
