APPLICABILITY:

INTRODUCTION:
As a result of the removal of the DCC fuse, the "driving position memory" function of the driver and passenger side seat will be inoperative due to the loss of seat position memory stored in the seat ECU. Use the following procedure to initialize the seat ECU after installing the DCC fuse during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS).






WARRANTY INFORMATION:

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE:






1. Cycle the ignition switch to the "IG-ON" position.
2. Press the the seat cushion (front) angle switch down 3 times. Reference (a-1) in Figure 1.
3. Within 10 seconds, simultaneously operate seatback angle switch to the rear side and push UP on the vertical height adjustment switch until a beep sound is emitted. Reference (a-2) in Figure 1.
4. Push the seat position control switch forward, sliding the seat to the full forward or most forward position until a beep sound is emitted. Reference (b) in Figure 1.






5. Push the seatback angle switch forward, moving the seatback angle to the foremost position until a beep sound is emitted.
6. Push the vertical height adjustment switch downward, moving the seat to the down most position until a beep sound is emitted.
7. Repeat steps 2 - 6 to initialize the other front seat.
