Removal





4GR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT OIL CONTROL VALVE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK

(a) Remove the intake air surge tank Removal.

2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1 Exhaust Side)

(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.

(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.

3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1 Intake Side)

(a) Remove the bolt and V-bank cover bracket.





(b) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.





(c) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.

(d) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.

4. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2 Exhaust Side)

(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.





(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.

(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.

5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2 Intake Side)

(a) Disconnect the 2 wire harness cramps from the bracket.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and bracket.

(c) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.





(d) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.

(e) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.
