Disassembly

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the 3 screws [E] and No. 1 heater to register duct.





2. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the 3 screws [E] and No. 3 heater to register duct.





3. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

(a) Remove the screw [E] and No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.





4. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

(a) Remove the screw [E] and No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.





5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 screws [E] and defroster nozzle assembly.





6. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT

(a) Remove the 4 screws [E] and No. 2 heater to register duct.





7. REMOVE SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE

(a) Disengage the 4 claws to remove the side defroster nozzle.





8. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA (w/ Navigation Antenna) Removal

10. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Manual (SOS) Switch) Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Disengage the 4 clamps to remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

12. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH

(a) Disengage the 8 claws and 2 clips to remove the defroster nozzle garnish.





14. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the automatic light control sensor.





15. REMOVE ENGINE SWITCH

(a) Disengage the 2 claws to remove the engine switch.





16. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SPACER

(a) Remove the instrument panel spacer.





17. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN

(a) Remove the 4 screws [E] and 4 No. 1 instrument panel pins.





18. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER

(a) Remove the 2 screws [E] and No. 1 meter hood retainer.





19. REMOVE NO. 2 METER HOOD RETAINER

(a) Remove the 2 screws [E] and No. 2 meter hood retainer.





20. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Remove the instrument panel cushion.
