Reverse Shift-Linked Function Of Power Mirrors Does Not Operate

MIRROR (EXT): POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory): Reverse Shift-linked Function of Power Mirrors does not Operate
- Reverse Shift-linked Function of Power Mirrors does not Operate

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

* for AT:

After the ECM receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch, the ECM sends a reverse signal to the outer mirror control ECU assembly via the CAN and BEAN communication system. The outer mirror control ECU assembly activates the response to the reverse signal.

* for MT:

The main body ECU LH (cowl side junction block LH) detects the condition of the back up light switch. The main body ECU LH (cowl side junction block LH) also sends a back up light switch signal to the outer mirror control ECU assembly via the BEAN communication system. The outer mirror control ECU assembly controls the reverse shift-linked function based on the back up light switch signal.

HINT
The reverse shift-linked function will not activate when the mirror select switch is in the neutral position (off).
