SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

NOTICE:
* After inspecting the front seat adjuster assembly, clear the seat positions stored in the position control ECU and switch assembly, and then register the end-point positions of the reclining motor, lifter motor and slide motor.
* Refer to the Operation Check Operation Check.

(a) Remove the front seat adjuster assembly LH Disassembly.

(b) Check operation of each motor of the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

(1) Check slide motor operation.





OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

(2) Check front vertical motor operation.





OK:

(3) Check lifter motor operation.





OK:

(4) Check reclining motor operation.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the front seat adjuster assembly Disassembly.

(b) Check operation of each motor of the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

(1) Check slide motor operation.





(2) Check if the seat frame moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat assembly.

(3) Check front vertical motor operation.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat assembly.

(4) Check lifter motor operation.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat assembly.

(5) Check reclining motor operation.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat assembly.
