Removal

WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (for Quarter): REMOVAL

1. OPEN METALTOP ROOF Removal

2. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal Service Precautions.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

4. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH LH Removal

5. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH RH Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH Removal

8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY WITH REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER Removal

11. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal

13. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) Removal

14. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) Removal

15. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP Removal

16. REMOVE BACK DOOR STOPPER CUSHION LH Removal

17. REMOVE BACK DOOR STOPPER CUSHION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

18. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP Removal

19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

20. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY Removal

21. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM BRACKET LH Removal

22. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM BRACKET RH (for RH Side) Removal

23. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW GLASS FEMALE STABILIZER Removal

24. REMOVE QUARTER SERVICE HOLE COVER Removal

25. MANUALLY CLOSE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY Removal

26. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW WITH REGULATOR ASSEMBLY Removal

27. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Disengage the guide and remove the rear quarter power window regulator bracket.

(c) Remove the drum and wire guide from the power window regulator motor assembly.





NOTICE:
Do not use a screwdriver to remove them. Using a screwdriver may damage the regulator wire.
