B2060 - ABS Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when a malfunction in the brake system is detected. This circuit consists of the skid control ECU and seat belt control ECU. Signals are sent from the skid control ECU using CAN communication.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Initialization must be performed Pre-Collision System.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
CAN communication system DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)
(a) Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
OK:
DTC is not output.
NG -- GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM Vehicle Stability Control System
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)
(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
OK:
DTC B2060 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal
