PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/o Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the clearance warning ECU with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (w/ Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the clearance warning ECU to the seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Temporarily install nut A.

(c) Insert loosely tightened nut A into the hole on the vehicle body (left side of the luggage compartment). Slide down the seat belt control ECU and the clearance warning ECU as a unit to temporarily install them.





(d) Insert the 2 bolts into the holes on the vehicle body and fully tighten the 3 nuts in the order of B, A, and C.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(e) Connect the connectors.

3. INSTALL SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Installation

7. INSTALL ROPE HOOK Installation

8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Installation

10. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH

12. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH

13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
