SEAT BELT: SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

1. DESCRIPTION

(a) Data of the system can be read in the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. Therefore, when the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for a malfunction and repair it.

2. CHECK DLC3

(a) Check the DLC3 General Information.

3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

(a) Check the battery voltage.

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, replace the battery before proceeding.
