DESCRIPTION
When the engine switch is on (IG), the center airbag sensor assembly transmits front seat inner belt assembly LH state signals to the combination meter through the CAN and BEAN. If the driver seat belt is not fastened, the combination meter blinks the driver seat belt warning light. If the seat belt is fastened, the warning light goes off.
NOTICE:
The seat belt warning system uses the CAN and BEAN. Before troubleshooting the seat belt warning system, perform Communication Function Check by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting to confirm that the communication systems are normal How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test".
Combination Meter:
OK:
Switch condition (ON/OFF) can be switched by "Active Test".
NG -- GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING) How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK FOR DTCS
(a) Clear the DTCs DTC Check / Clear.
(b) Check for DTCs again.
(c) Proceed to the next step based on the inspection result.
