SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: ACTIVE HEADREST INFLATOR: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the front seat assembly LH Removal.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT Disassembly

9. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD Disassembly

10. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST INFLATOR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





NOTICE:
When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the bolt and nut.

(c) Detach the 2 guides and 2 clamps.

(d) Turn the inflator in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove it.

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST BRACKET Disassembly
