Installation





SEAT: REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the seatback adjuster with the 4 nuts.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

3. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the air duct to the vehicle body.





(b) Install the seat adjuster with the 4 bolts and nut.

for bolt A - Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

except bolt A - Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

4. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the air duct to the vehicle body.





(b) Install the seat adjuster with the 4 bolts and nut.

for bolt A - Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

except bolt A - Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(c) Connect the anchor part of the rear center seat outer belt with the nut.





Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear center seat belt to overlap protruding part of the anchor bracket.

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.





(b) Install the center armrest with 2 bolts and nut.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(c) Attach the hook to the center seatback frame wire.





(d) Attach the 2 clips to install the rear seat armrest hole board.

(e) While pressing the button, lower the headrest.





(f) Raise the center armrest.

6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Connect the seatback assembly to the seatback adjuster, and press down on the seatback assembly to install it to the seatback adjuster. Then connect the air duct to the vehicle body.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Install the seatback assembly to the seat cushion adjuster with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the clip and attach the pieces of fastening tape.

(d) Connect the 3 connectors and attach 7 wire harness clamps.





(e) Connect the 2 connectors.





(f) Install the junction block with the bolt.

Torque : 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)

(g) Install the seat belt to the shoulder belt guide.





(h) Attach the 2 claws to close the 2 caps.

(i) Connect the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt with the bolt.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)





NOTICE:
Do not allow the anchor part of the rear seat 3 point type belt assembly to overlap protruding parts of the floor panel.

8. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY





(a) Attach the rear hook of the center seat cushion to the center seatback frame.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Attach the front hook of the center seat cushion to the vehicle body.

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Connect the connector.





(b) Attach the rear hook of the seat cushion to the seat adjuster.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(c) Attach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion to the seat adjuster.

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

12. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER Installation

13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.

14. CHECK REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the power seat operation Operation Check.

(b) Check the climate control seat system Operation Check.

(c) Check the seat vibration system Operation Check.

15. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM

(a) Check the rear sunshade system Operation Check.

16. CHECK REAR DOOR SUNSHADE SYSTEM

(a) Check the rear door sunshade system Operation Check.
