Test Mode Procedure
SUSPENSION CONTROL: AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM: TEST MODE PROCEDURE
1. TEST MODE PROCEDURE (USING TECHSTREAM)
HINT
* When entering the test mode, the suspension control ECU sets all the test mode DTCs first.
After completing the test mode for each check item, the test mode DTCs that are determined to be normal by the suspension control ECU will be erased.
The test mode DTCs for other check items may not be erased when only a certain signal is inspected.
* When the test mode returns back to the normal mode, all the test mode DTCs will be erased.
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Turn the Techstream on.
(e) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Utility / Signal Check.
(f) Confirm that the system is in test mode by checking that the "SPORT" indicator light in the combination meter blinks at 0.125 second intervals (0.125 seconds on and 0.125 seconds off).
HINT
If the suspension control ECU does not store the vehicle identification information, the light blinks at 1 second intervals (1 second on and 1 second off). If the vehicle identification information is not stored, perform registration of the vehicle identification information Programming and Relearning.
(g) Read the test mode DTCs by following the prompts on the Techstream screen.
(h) After completing the test mode, disconnect the Techstream and turn the engine switch off.
2. TEST MODE PROCEDURE (USING SST CHECK WIRE)
(a) Turn the engine switch off.
(b) Using SST, connect terminal 12 (TS) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.
SST : 09843-18040
NOTICE:
Do not connect the wrong terminals, as this will cause parts to be damaged.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Confirm that the absorber control indicator light (SPORT) in the combination meter blinks at 0.125 second intervals.
(e) Using SST, connect terminal 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.
SST : 09843-18040
NOTICE:
* Do not disconnect terminals 12 (TS) and 4 (CG).
* Do not connect the wrong terminals, as this will cause parts to be damaged.
(f) Determine the test mode DTC that is output based on the number of times the "HEIGHT HIGH" indicator light blinks.
HINT
* If the system is normal, the light blinks at 0.25 second intervals.
* If a malfunction code is output, refer to the TEST MODE DTC CHART.
* If there is only 1 malfunction code, the code is displayed, a 4.5 second pause occurs, and then the code repeats. If there is more than 1 malfunction code, a 2.5 second pause occurs between codes, a 4.5 second pause occurs after all the codes are displayed, and then the codes repeat.
* If there is more than 1 malfunction code, they are displayed in numerical order.
(g) Turn the engine switch off.
(h) Disconnect SST.
3. TEST MODE DTC CHART
HINT
When entering test mode, the suspension control ECU stores all the test mode DTCs. If the deletion conditions for a test mode DTC are met, it is deleted.
(a) If a malfunction code is displayed during the test mode DTC check, check the circuit listed for that code. For details of each code, refer to "See page" for the respective "DTC Code" in the chart.
