Pre-Collision System (w/ Driver Monitor Camera)
PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM (w/ Driver Monitor Camera): B2002, B2007: Open in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit
B2002 - Open in Seat Belt Motor RH Circuit
B2007 - Open in Seat Belt Motor LH Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The seat belt control ECU receives collision information from the driving support ECU and skid control ECU via CAN communication, and tightens the seat belt by operating the motor inside the front seat outer belt assembly.
When DTC B2002 is detected, DTCs B2026 and B2027 will not be detected.
When DTC B2007 is detected, DTCs B2031 and B2032 will not be detected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
CAUTION:
The pretensioner is built into the front seat outer belt assembly. Be sure to follow the correct inspection procedure, as failure to follow the correct procedure (such as inspection of incorrect connectors) may activate the pretensioner.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
(a) Disconnect the S45 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for LH
for RH
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
OK -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)
(a) Disconnect the S4*1 or R2*2 belt connector.
(b) Disconnect the S45 ECU connector.
(c) Using a service wire, connect terminals S4-1*1 or R2-1*2 and S4-2*1 or R2-2*2 of the connector on the front seat outer belt.
(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
Result
B -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH Removal
C -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal
A -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
