B22A0 - IG2 Terminal Circuit Low

DESCRIPTION

The electric power control ECU monitors the IG (IG2) voltage. When there is no voltage input to IG (IG2), this DTC is output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (IG INPUT VOLTAGE)





(a) Disconnect the PK junction block connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:





NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PASSENGER SIDE J/B - ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 J/B)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT FUSE (P IG2)

(a) Remove the P IG2 fuse from the passenger side junction block.

(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FUSE

OK -- REPLACE PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (ELECTRIC POWER CONTROL ECU)

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PASSENGER SIDE J/B - ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 J/B)





(a) Disconnect the PK and 2C junction block connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK - BATTERY)





(a) Disconnect the 2E junction block connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG)

(a) Remove the ECU-IG fuse from the engine room No. 2 junction block.

(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

6. CHECK FOR DTC (B2273)

(a) Check for DTC B2273 Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

OK:

DTC B2273 is not output.

NG -- GO TO SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Starting) Smart Access System With Push-Button Start

OK -- REPLACE ENGINE ROOM NO. 2 JUNCTION BLOCK
