C1626 - Steering Angle Sensor Failure

DESCRIPTION

When the self-diagnosis of the parking assist ECU determines that the steering angle sensor is malfunction, this DTC is output.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
- When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
- Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

2. REPLACE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR

(a) Replace the steering angle sensor Removal.

3. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
