Vehicle Does Not Move to Set Parking Position
PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ADVANCED PARKING GUIDANCE SYSTEM: Vehicle does not Move to Set Parking Position
- Vehicle does not Move to Set Parking Position
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* When "System initializing" is displayed on the display and navigation module display after the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Initialization.
* Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the advanced parking guidance system may be needed Calibration.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK PARKING POSITION
(a) Check the parking function with the vehicle angle at 45° as shown in the illustration.
Text in Illustration
HINT
Depending on the size of the equipped tires (for example, the tire size may affect the rotation of the tire in relation to the steering wheel) and the vehicle angle (for example, the vehicle angle is too small), the parking position may deviate or the vehicle may not be straight. As a result, this inspection is necessary.
