1. CHECK GPS MARK
(a) Check that the GPS mark is displayed.
OK:
GPS mark is displayed.
NG -- GO TO "GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED" IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE)
(a) Enter the "Navigation Check" mode and select "Vehicle Sensors" Operation Check.
(b) While driving the vehicle, compare the "Speed" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check that these readings are equal or almost equal.
OK:
The readings are equal or almost equal.
NG -- CHECK DTC OUTPUT Navigation System (for DVD)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE)
(a) Enter the "Display Check" mode and select "Vehicle Signal Check" Operation Check.
(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.
OK:

The display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual shift lever operation.
