Disassembly

EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the 2 pieces of tape.

(b) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.





(c) Detach the 2 claws and remove the ultrasonic sensor clip.

HINT
Use the same procedure to remove the ultrasonic sensor clip on the other side.





2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER LH (for Sport Package)





(a) Remove the 3 clips, 8 retainers and rear side spoiler.

5. REMOVE REAR SIDE SPOILER RH (for Sport Package)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

6. REMOVE REAR SPOILER (for Sport Package)

(a) Remove the 9 retainers and rear spoiler.





7. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





(a) Remove the 2 screws and rear bumper side retainer.

8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

9. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION LH





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and rear bumper extension.

10. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION RH

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

11. REMOVE REAR BUMPER LOWER COVER





(a) Remove the 8 screws.

(b) Detach the 5 claws and remove the rear bumper lower cover.

12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE LH





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the rear bumper piece.

13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PIECE RH
