Disassembly

INTERIOR: FRONT CONSOLE BOX (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the 10 claws and remove the console box register.

2. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX DAMPER

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear console box damper.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET





(a) Remove the 6 screws, 4 bolts and No. 2 console box mounting bracket.

4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 screws, upper console box and lower console box.

5. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX PLATE





(a) Remove the 2 screws.

(b) Detach the 6 claws and remove the console box plate.

6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE ARMREST ASSEMBLY





(a) Detach the clamp.

(b) Remove the 6 screws, bracket and rear console armrest.

7. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 seals and 4 screws.

(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 8 claws and remove the console compartment door lock.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(c) Remove the 4 screws and console compartment door hinge.

8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX WIRE





(a) For No. 1 interior illumination light assembly side:

(1) Disconnect the connector.

(2) Detach the 2 clamps and remove the console box wire.





(b) For console box illumination light assembly side:

(1) Disconnect the connector.

(2) Remove the tape.

(3) Detach the clamp and remove the console box wire.

9. REMOVE NO. 1 INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX LENS





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the front No. 1 console box lens.
