DESCRIPTION
When an entry lock switch is pressed and held for approximately 3 seconds: 1) the main body ECU receives a signal via the driver side door ECU, 2) the main body ECU transmits a signal to all the power window regulator motor, and 3) all the power window motors are activated to close the windows.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (ENTRY AND START SYSTEM)
(a) Check that the entry lock switch operates normally.
OK:
Entry lock switch can lock all the doors.
NG -- GO TO SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK MANUAL UP / DOWN FUNCTION
(a) Check that the manual UP/DOWN function using the master switch and regulator switch can operate all the power windows.
OK:
Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG -- OTHER PROBLEM (GO TO PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK REMOTE UP / DOWN FUNCTION
(a) Check that the remote UP/DOWN function using the master switch can operate the power windows.
OK:
Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG -- OTHER PROBLEM (GO TO PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) Problem Symptoms Table
OK -- REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK)
