C1A26 - Lost Communication with Gigabit Video Interface
DESCRIPTION
The driving support ECU uses the front millimeter wave radar sensor, driver monitor camera and object recognition camera to detect obstacles in front of and behind the vehicle, and detect the direction that the driver's head is facing. Based on this information, the driving support ECU sends pre-collision control operation signals.
When a video signal format malfunction or communication stop is detected between the object recognition ECU and object recognition camera, this DTC is output.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU - OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA)
(a) Disconnect the R49 ECU connector.
(b) Disconnect the X15 camera connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA
(a) Replace the object recognition sensor Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA
(a) Adjust the object recognition sensor Adjustments.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "Clear" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
DTC C1A26 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU
OK -- END
5. REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION ECU
(a) Replace the object recognition ECU Removal.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
6. ADJUST OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA
(a) Adjust the object recognition sensor Adjustments.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
7. CHECK FOR DTC
(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
(b) Select "Clear" and clear the data.
(c) Recheck for DTC.
OK:
DTC C1A26 is not output.
