Disassembly

INSTRUMENT PANEL: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE POWER SWITCH





(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the power switch.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

3. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 3 screws and defroster nozzle.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the claw and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN





(a) Remove the 2 screws and 2 No. 1 instrument panel pins.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 1 heater to register duct.

7. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 3 heater to register duct.

8. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT





(a) Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 heater to register duct.

10. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU





(a) Remove the bolt and tire pressure warning ECU.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

12. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (for Leather Covered Type)





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the 5 clamps and remove the No. 2 instrument panel wire.

13. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System for DVD) Removal

14. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System for HDD) Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER





(a) Remove the 2 screws and 2 meter hood retainers.

16. REMOVE NO. 2 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH





(a) Detach the 6 claws and remove the No. 2 defroster nozzle garnish.

17. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH





(a) Detach the 6 claws and remove the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

18. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR





(a) Remove the 2 claws and automatic light control sensor.
