MIRROR: OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE:
* After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the POWER switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG Disassembly

5. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Disassembly

6. REMOVE DOOR FRAME GARNISH Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER Disassembly

10. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the 3 clamps.

(c) Remove the 3 nuts and mirror.
