SEAT: REAR SEATBACK HEATER (for Ottoman): INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.





NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

2. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH Reassembly

3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER RH Reassembly

4. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK BASE RH Reassembly

5. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER CAP RH Reassembly

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH Reassembly

7. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU RH Reassembly

8. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Reassembly

9. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH Reassembly

10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH Reassembly

11. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH Reassembly

12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.





NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.

14. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK BASE LH Reassembly

15. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER CAP LH Reassembly

16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH Reassembly

17. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU LH Reassembly

18. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Reassembly

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH Reassembly

20. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH Reassembly

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH Reassembly

22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH Installation

23. INSTALL REAR SEAT CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Console Box) Installation

24. INSTALL REAR LOWER SEAT CONSOLE BOX COVER (w/ Rear Console Box) Installation

25. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH Installation

26. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH Installation

27. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH Installation

28. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

29. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation

30. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Installation

31. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

32. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.

33. CHECK REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the power seat operation Operation Check.

(b) Check the climate control seat system Operation Check.

(c) Check the seat vibration system Operation Check.
