2UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR: REMOVAL

HINT
When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.

1. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2)

(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Using SST, remove the sensor from the front exhaust pipe.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

(a) Remove the front door scuff plate RH Removal.

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

(a) Remove the cowl side trim board RH Removal.

4. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR SILENCER PAD RH

5. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 AIR DUCT

6. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2)

(a) Interior Side:

Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Exterior Side:

(1) Remove the grommet.





(2) Using SST, remove the sensor from the front exhaust pipe.
