Removal

2UR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PUMP (for High Pressure): REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE

(a) Discharge fuel system pressure Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the fuel pressure pulsation damper Removal.

3. REMOVE NO. 3 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

(a) Disconnect the fuel pump connector.





(b) Remove the 2 nuts, fuel pump and fuel pump insulator.

(c) Disconnect the No. 2 fuel hose from the fuel pump.

6. REMOVE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

(a) Disconnect the fuel pump connector.





(b) Remove the 2 nuts, fuel pump and fuel pump insulator.

(c) Disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose from the fuel pump.
