Front Active Stabilizer Control Actuator





SUSPENSION: FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY





(a) Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times as shown in the illustration.

(b) Temporarily install the nut, and use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 to 4 seconds per turn. Take the torque reading on the 5th turn.

Standard turning torque:

1.96 N*m (20 kgf*cm, 17.3 in.*lbf) or less

If the value is not within the specified range, replace the front stabilizer link assembly.

(c) Check the dust boot for cracks or grease leakage.
