REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE: After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
a. Rear seat cushion assembly LH
b. Rear seat cushion assembly RH
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Ottoman)
a. Rear seatback assembly LH
b. Rear seatback assembly RH
10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
11. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
12. REMOVE REAR AIRBAG SENSOR
a. Remove the bolt and rear airbag sensor.
b. Disconnect the connector.
