Headlamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the hood.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.







3. Remove the headlamp assembly.
1 Remove the headlamp assembly retainers by pushing rearward and pulling up.
2 Pull the headlamp assembly forward slightly to expose the electrical connectors.
3 Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the headlamp assembly.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Adjust the headlamp; refer to Headlamp Adjustment.

NOTE: Be sure the headlamp assembly is positioned correctly with the alignment pins inserted into the correct holes and onto the ribs of the reinforcement.
