System Descroption

The horn switch is integrated into the air bag. For the removal and installation of the air bag, refer to Air Bag Systems.

The horn system consists of the following components:
^ clockspring
^ horn
^ horn switch
^ steering wheel control switch harness
^ central security module

The horn is located behind the front bumper and is mounted on the right side of the radiator support.

The central security module is located behind the right rear trim panel. For the removal and installation of the central security module, refer to Multifunction Electronic Control Module (General Module).
