Normal Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) supplies the vehicle speed signal (VSS) to the navigation system module through circuit 679 (GY/BK). The navigation system uses the VSS signal and the GPS antenna to accurately establish vehicle speed and position.

Possible Causes
- circuit 679 (GY/BK) open or shorted to ground
- GPS antenna
- audio unit
- navigation system module
