Normal Operation
The navigation system microphone is integrated into the rear view mirror. Circuits 1196 (DG/WH) and 1197 (LG/BK) provide the microphone input from the rear view mirror to the navigation system module.

Possible Causes
- circuit 1196 (DG/WH) open or shorted
- circuit 1197 (LG/BK) open or shorted
- microphone
- navigation system module
