Normal Operation
If all of the doors are unlocked, the button on the liftgate may be pressed to activate the liftgate release actuator. The liftgate needs to be manually lifted until the liftgate struts can assist in opening the liftgate to the full-open position. The key may be inserted and turned in the liftgate cylinder, with all of the doors unlocked, to activate the liftgate release actuator. Again, the liftgate needs to be manually lifted until the liftgate struts can assist in opening the liftgate to the full-open position.
