EXTERIOR MIRROR

REMOVAL

NOTE: RH side shown. LH side similar.












1 Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

Item 1: Electrical Connector Removal Note
1. Remove the front door trim panel.

Item 4: Exterior Mirror Glass Removal Note
1. Position exterior mirror glass in the full down position.







2. Grasp the top of the exterior mirror glass and carefully pull glass away from the housing while using long-nosed pliers to pull back on the tab until the mirror glass releases.

Item 6: Exterior Mirror Motor Removal Note







1. Disconnect the exterior mirror motor electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Item 4: Exterior Mirror Glass Installation Note
1. Position the exterior mirror glass on the mirror motor.
2. Place a hand against the back of the exterior mirror housing and a hand flat against the exterior mirror glass. Press the mirror glass in place until it is fully seated.
