Normal Operation
Under normal operation when the PCM senses battery voltage on circuit 511 (LG), the PCM deactivates the speed control actuator. Additionally, when the brake pedal is pressed and the speed control deactivator switch opens, battery voltage is removed from circuit 307 (BK/YE) to the speed control actuator or the PCM, releasing the throttle independently of the speed control actuator.
Possible Causes
- circuit 133 (BK) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- circuit 264 (WH/LB) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- circuit 265 (LG/WH) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- circuit 307 (BK/YE) open
- circuit 376 (BN/WH) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- circuit 511 (LG) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- circuit 1139 (VT/YE) open, shorted to power or shorted to ground
- PCM
