LH and RH cylinder heads bolts
Tighten the in six stages in the sequence shown.
1: Tighten 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
3: Loosen the bolts a minimum of one full turn.
4: Tighten 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
5: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
6: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
Camshaft bearing caps tighten the fasteners in the sequence shown.
Upper Intake Manifold
Tighten in the sequence shown
Tighten 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
Lower Intake Manifold
Tighten in the sequence shown
Tighten 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
Crankshaft Pulley bolt
Tighten the bolt in four stages:
1: Tighten 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)
2: Loosen one full turn.
3: Tighten 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4: Tighten an additional 90 degrees without exceeding 200 Nm (148 ft. lbs.).
Exhaust Manifold LH
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Exhaust Manifold RH
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Camshaft sprocket bolt
Tighten the bolts in two stages:
1: Tighten to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.
