Test F2-F3:
Test F4-F5:
Normal Operation
NOTE:
- The LF power window motor is not on the multiplex link.
- A new LF power window motor will be in proportional up/down mode until initialized. Refer to Door Window Motor Initialization.
- The LF power window motor must be re-initialized whenever: the motor is removed from the window regulator drum housing, a new motor is installed, a new window regulator is installed, a new window glass is installed, a new top run is installed, or any operation which grease or lubricants are applied to the window system.
Under normal operation the front power window control switch receives power from the delay accessory relay through circuit 400 (LB/BK) and is grounded to chassis through circuit 1205 (BK). When the front window control switch is operated in the UP position the LF front motor receives power through circuit 992 (WH/BK). When the front window control switch is operated in the DOWN position the LF front motor receives power through circuit 991 (TN/LB). When the LF window motor receives a ground signal on circuit 777 (YE), circuit 2018 (LB/OG) or circuit 2018 (OG/YE) the LF window motor will enter one-touch up/down.
Possible Causes
- Inoperative LF window motor.
- Inoperative front window control switch.
- LF motor not initialized.
- Open in circuits 400 (LB/BK), 1001 (WH/YE), 777 (YE), 991 (TN/LB), 992 (WH/BK), 1203 (BK/LB)/875 (BK/LB), or 1205 (BK)/57 (BK).
