WINDSHIELD WIPER

REMOVAL












1. Remove the components in the order indicated in the illustration and table. To remove individual components, only carry out the listed steps.

Item 1: Windshield Wiper Pivot Arm Removal Note







1. Remove the pivot arm.
1 Pull up on the pivot arm.
2 Pull out on the retainer tab and remove the pivot arm.

Item 2: Cowl Panel Grille Removal Note

1. NOTE: The cowl panel grille is held in place by clips.

Remove the RH side cowl grille panel before removing the LH side cowl panel grille.

Item 5: Windshield Wiper Motor and Tube Assembly Removal Note







1. CAUTION: The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the magnets, do not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.

Remove the bolts and wiper motor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
