1982---87 CONTINENTAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove steering column shroud.
3. Snap off instrument panel mouldings.
4. Remove seventeen instrument panel assembly to instrument panel and instrument panel pad retaining screws, then remove trim assembly, Fig. 5.
5. Disconnect transmission indicator cable from steering column.
6. Remove four cluster retaining screws from instrument panel and move cluster away from instrument panel.
7. Disconnect wiring harness connector and remove cluster.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
