The front seat cushion on some 1982-83 vehicles may exhibit movement or rocking, originating at the front outboard seat frame to track attachment. This concern may be caused by a cracked seat frame (at the outboard, front track attachment location). This condition, if found, is serviced by replacing the frame assembly as outlined (Figure 3).

Refer to the replacement procedure contained in Group 41 of the appropriate Continental Shop Manual as indicated.
