LIFT CYLINDER - DECK LID - VERY COLD WEATHER AREAS


LINCOLN-MERCURY 1982/83 CONTINENTAL

Deck lid lift cylinder hold open forces on some subject vehicles may be insufficient to maintain full open position in very cold weather. This concern can be serviced by replacing both cylinders on these units with the service-only parts listed below. This change will increase deck closing efforts in warmer weather.
