Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

When installing radio, be sure to adjust antenna trimmer for peak performance.

MARK VI & 1982---88 TOWN CAR

1. Disconnect battery ground able.
2. Remove radio plate to instrument panel retaining screws.
3. Pull radio rearward until the rear support bracket is clear of instrument panel.
4. Disconnect radio wiring and antenna lead. Remove radio.
5. Remove screws securing front bracket to radio and remove, remove rear support bracket.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
