- PROPER SERVICE PROCEDURE


LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984 MARK VII, CONTINENTAL

To service the compass/thermometer refer to TSB 83-25-4, dated 12/13/83. If after attempted calibrations the compass/thermometer is still malfunctioning, replace the compass/thermometer assembly with an E4LY-19A548-A module assembly. Do not replace with part number E4LY-63519B42-D, which is the roof console finish panel assembly with compass/thermometer module.

Warranty claims submitted for replacement of the console finish panel when the concern is in the compass/thermometer assembly will be subject to denial or charge-back.
